Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
SMT Machine Operator
to join our Conventional section in Stevenage. This hands-on role involves operating and assisting with cleaning tanks, flow solder machines, and selective soldering equipment, as well as supporting PCB assembly tasks.Duties
Operate cleaning tanks following operator instructions and safety guidelines Assist with flow solder and selective soldering machines Perform low-level PCB assembly (loose load) Identify components such as resistors, capacitors, and ICs Use MES scanning system to record work Maintain a clean and organized work area Ensure correct use of equipment and PPE Follow health and safety procedures Carry out additional duties as assigned by the manager
Experience
Essential:
Good attention to detail Ability to follow instructions accurately
Desirable:
Experience in machine operation and maintenance Familiarity with electronic components and assembly processes
