We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating large vehicles and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience for all riders.
Duties
Safely operate the coach, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical soundness.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information on routes, schedules, and any delays.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the coach, ensuring their safety at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior.
Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Keep accurate records of routes taken, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Requirements
Valid PCV driving licence with appropriate endorsements for operating a coach.
Strong communication skills to interact with passengers and team members effectively.
Previous experience is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to drive for extended periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.
