About The Role
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Department is responsible for the preparation of new vehicles for key manufacturing clients, including Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Hyundai and Nissan. Our role is to provide peace of mind to our customers by ensuring that all vehicles meet the highest brand standards--both mechanically and cosmetically--in line with manufacturer guidelines.
As a PDI Administrator, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the PDI Centre Team. You will play a vital role in ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in alignment with our company values and operational standards.
What You Will Be Doing
Deliver high-quality work within set deadlines by managing your own workload effectively, focusing on efficiency and task prioritisation.
Coordinate the administrative processes for vehicle preparation checks ahead of completion by trained technicians.
Liaise with the Front of House Team to prioritise vehicle preparation tasks based on operational needs.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, courtesy, and integrity when interacting with colleagues, customers, and partners.
Ensure PDI Centre administration is fully compliant with internal policies and external brand requirements.
Accurately record and maintain up-to-date vehicle data in relevant systems.
Embrace continuous learning and development to stay current with evolving vehicle products and market trends.
Work collaboratively within a team to successfully meet departmental objectives and service delivery targets.
Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills, working effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Assign tasks to workshop teams, providing clear direction and support to relevant departments.
Offer guidance and assistance across business areas when required, ensuring consistent service delivery.
What You Will Need
A full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise instructions.
Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
Competence in using manufacturer-supported systems and digital tools.
Experience working within structured regulations and procedural frameworks.
Previous customer-facing experience, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues to mutual satisfaction.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong administrative and data entry capabilities, with a high level of accuracy.
Proactive mindset with the ability to use initiative and adapt to change quickly.
A collaborative approach, working effectively with other departments to deliver a seamless and professional service.
