TFG have an opportunity for a Level 2 Football or Multi Sports coach, (or coach delivering our electric go-kart sessions - full training given) to join it's team working at our busy summer camp in Leighton Buzzard. You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience across a wide range of sports and activities; working mainly with children from ages 5 - 13.
As part of the role, TFG will provide training and mentoring.
This is a demanding but very rewarding role ideally suited to a graduate or experienced coach looking for a fun summer, which could kick-start a professional career in the sports coaching/teaching and childcare sector.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Planning and delivering holiday camp activities
Support project staff to prepare for sessions and deliver the programme's activities
Support project staff in monitoring and evaluating the success of the projects activities
Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies
Complete various training courses
Attend all work based sessions, meetings and training courses on time
Adhere to their placement organisations policies around presentation, dress code and representing the organisation externally

An understanding of sport and young people
Passionate about childcare
Self-motivated to learn and improve
Good communication skills and ability to relate to other people
Ability to engage young people positively
To be able to adapt to different challenges in a positive way
Willingness to travel to and from sessions on a daily basis (essential)
Reasonable level of personal fitness
Safeguarding (desirable not essential - full training provided)
First aid trained (desirable not essential - full training provided)
Food Hygiene (desirable not essential - full training provided)
UK drivers license and own transport - willingness to travel
GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE
In carrying out the above the post holder will:
Keep abreast of developments in services and legislation for young people relevant to the tasks and responsibilities
Seek to improve his/her own performance, contribution, knowledge, and skills and participate in training and developmental activities as required
Ensure the implementation the Diversity and Equality policy statement
Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
