Primary Sports Academy is seeking a passionate, energetic, reliable and experienced Primary PE Teacher/Sports Coach to deliver high quality PE lessons that follow the national curriculum. Part of the role is to also lead a lunchtime sports club and lead an after school sports club each day. The lunchtime clubs and PE lessons will all be based in one school, whereas the after school clubs will be based across 3 schools in close proximity to one another.

The final part of the role requires the candidate to lead and/or assist with holiday sports camps across 2 main schools. The children at all of the schools are aged between 3-11 years.

We are currently based in Cheshire and are in the process of an exciting expansion. All of our sessions follow the company value that everything we deliver to the children is fun, engaging and educational. We have built up an outstanding reputation, over 8 years, of delivering fun and engaging PE lessons, lunchtime, after school clubs and holiday camps to all children who attend.

The Role:

Deliver PE lessons in line with the national curriculum across multiple primary year groups Lead lunchtime activities and after school clubs each day Lead holiday sports camps days at a variety of schools Adapt your teaching style to suit children of different ages, abilities, and learning styles Build strong relationships with school staff, pupils, and parents Deliver a variety of sports as part of the national curriculum - with a different focus each half term (e.g. football in autumn, gymnastics in spring, athletics in summer) Promote positive values such as teamwork, confidence, and resilience through sport Adhere to company values such as ensuring the children are engaged, learning and having fun at all times

What We're Looking For:

A passion for sport and working with children Experience delivering PE and the national curriculum in primary schools Confident managing groups of children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Good understanding of the PE curriculum and child development Reliable, professional, proactive and adaptable in your approach Clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Relevant qualifications (e.g. minimum NGB Level 2 in Coaching, PE/Sports Degree, PGCE with PE focus)

Hours

Term time:

12:00-4:30 (or a 4:45 finish two days per week) during term time hours
School holidays:

36 x days at our holiday camps in Holmes Chapel (8:15-5:00) 12 x days at our holiday camps in Handforth (9:00-3:00)

Pay:

20,640 per year on a self-employed contracted basis. This means you'll be contracted to work the above hours and will receive 1,720 per month for 12 months spread across the calendar year. Primary Sports Academy is a fast growing company and more work (meaning increases in salary) is likely. Hours around the offered hours are available and can be discussed at interview.
