Reports to People Director

Job Summary

Manage end to end employee life cycle processes and provide support to the People team as needed. Ensure an effective, efficient and timely approach to all employees, managers, stakeholders and team. Be a strong positive brand ambassador for the People team putting employee experience at the core in addition to fulfilling employment law, People policy/guidelines and company compliance needs. In turn supporting a best-in-class people team and reputation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing end to end employee life cycle processes, including but not limited to:
  • Offer and new starter process
  • Early employment process
  • Leaver process
  • Issuing changes in terms and conditions
  • Referral process
  • Benefits processes
  • References
  • Awards
  • Managing People inboxes quickly and efficiently (includes managing expectations). In addition, working with People colleague(s) and triaging as required ensuring actions are owned
  • Managing People folders, including keeping them up to date, in the appropriate place and ensuring we comply with GDPR, data protection laws and company guidelines
  • Supporting reporting requirements as needed
  • Effectively managing improvements of processes and documentation with the team. Raising to manager on areas which may require improvement with consideration of solutions
  • Updating and managing People systems and trackers to ensure accurate data can be reported
  • Entering all payroll related changes to monthly payroll tracker with full accuracy. Working with team to ensure all data is included for submission in advance of payroll cutoff (in agreed timelines) to colleague for second check
  • Covering appropriate People colleague(s) during periods of absence ensuring employee experience processes can be fulfilled
  • Supporting managing inductions for new employees including delivering People Inductions
  • Supporting additional activities as required by team and line manager
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Excellent administration skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise; excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrates a proactive, positive approach
  • Ability to learn and apply People and company policies/guidelines and processes with an understanding of UK Employment Law
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR guidelines and ability to apply this appropriately to all activities within role
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage expectations
  • Strong team player
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and ability to use people systems
  • HR/People team administration experience
Travel Requirements
  • Travel to London as required
