Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Advisor to join the team. The People Advisor will support the Head of People in ensuring the smooth delivery of People services, employee engagement and compliance with employment legislation. The People Advisor will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting the full employee lifecycle and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Key Accountabilities
Employee Relations
Provide first-line support on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Liaise with external employment law advisors.
Employment Documentation
Liaising with external employment law advisors, lead with the annual review of the employee handbook, contracts of employment and policies.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support recruitment campaigns, coordinate and conduct interviews, draft offer letters and contracts, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
Learning and Development
Coordinate training activities on site, booking training providers and manage course enrolment.
Reward
Provide support with the administration of various employee benefits, such as private healthcare, life assurance and the pension scheme
Employee Engagement
Assist in planning and delivering employee engagement events, from liaising with venue providers, communicating events to the site and coordinating activities. Gain employee feedback through surveys. Support initiatives that enhance workplace culture.
Payroll
Responsibility for collating payroll adjustments each month, working in close collaborate with Finance.
People Analytics & Reporting
Collate and provide an analysis of People data to produce regular reports on headcount, absence, turnover and other key metrics.
Project Work & Continuous Improvement
Contribute to ad hoc People projects and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by the Head of People.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential
To be successful in this role, applicants need to have the following essential skills and experience: Proven experience as a generalist People Officer/Advisor with exposure to recruitment and employee relations
Experience of working with HR Information Systems
Proven experience of delivery of projects, on-time, in full.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to conduct the role in a professional manner with the strictest confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Good level of numeracy skills
Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Flexible, can-do attitude, enthusiastic and friendly
A positive attitude towards teamwork and supporting the wider business
5 GCSEs or equivalent
CIPD Level 3 or demonstrated work experience at this level
Desirable
Previous People Officer/Advisor experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience of working in an organisation going through high growth
CIPD Level 5 or working towards
Degree in HR Management or related field (Business)
