This is a 9-month fixed term contract


Up to 35,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro-rata)

What is the role?




Due to growth within the organisation, we are looking for a hands on People Advisor to join our small but busy team within the North west covering across our Liverpool and Haydock offices and some remote support for our teams in the South too. This role is an exciting opportunity for the right person to roll their sleeves up and get involved with the day to day BAU activities but also support with any projects and alignment of terms as we align policies and procedures across our businesses.

Key responsibilities



First line point of contact for all general HR enquiries and supporting the people team inbox offering best practice advice and guidance to managers across varying companies, policies and terms and conditions. Ensure employee relations issues are managed effectively and in a timely manner, prioritising workload and multiple cases, accordingly, working closely with the People Business Partner. Own the absence procedure process and support/guide managers through the absence trigger meetings and subsequent absence hearing meetings. Conducting occupational health referrals as advised by the People Business Partner Conducting exit interviews and providing analysis on any trends identified. Conduct HR Inductions for new starters and own the induction slides for any updates. Involvement with supporting and training managers including creating slides and presenting in one to one or in small group settings on HR processes and procedures Create and maintain organisation structure charts working closely with the People Business Partner and Head of People North. Supporting managers with the annual review PDP process and advising managers in line with the performance management policy Create a HR template library as advised by the People Business Partner.

About you



You will ideally have 2 years' experience working within an advisory role within a busy People/HR team You have good knowledge of UK Employment Law You have great communication skills, both verbal and written You relish being hands on, have a self-starter mind-set and great customer service skills You have a proven track record of highly-professional client service in a dynamic environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines

Job type




Our contracted working hours are 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9am-5.15pm


The role is based between our Liverpool and Haydock Head Offices, with a minimum of 3 days required in the office per week.
