As a Graduate People Assistant - People Operations, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day People-related queries, providing excellent support to colleagues and ensuring smooth people operations. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to start a career in People/HR, offering hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with the wider People Team to deliver a great colleague experience, contribute to continuous improvement, and gain exposure to a variety of people projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Administration & Support
Respond to routine People-related queries from colleagues and managers, escalating where appropriate.
Maintain accurate colleague records in the People system, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, absence, and personal details.
Support payroll administration and benefits processes.
Prepare and issue documentation such as offer letters, contracts, change letters, reference requests, and leaver confirmations.
Monitor and update People Team trackers, shared inboxes, and filing systems in line with GDPR.
Manage all family leave processes (maternity, paternity, adoption, etc.).
Administer offboarding processes, including exit interviews and systems access removal.
Support the administration of benefits and reward processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the employee lifecycle.
Onboarding
Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding processes, ensuring new starters have a smooth experience.
Manage and coordinate the 'Welcome to Riviera' onboarding session
Run People team induction session with all new team members
Manage our new joiner experience surveys
Systems & Reporting
Ensure the people system - our single source of the truth - is updated in a timely and accurate manner
Prepare and analyse People metrics and reports (e.g. turnover, absence, diversity data) to support decision-making.
Assist with data audits and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
Project Ownership and Participation
Take ownership of small-scale People projects (e.g., process improvements, engagement initiatives, wellbeing campaigns).
Support the implementation of new HR technologies or platforms, such as HRIS, ATS or payroll integrations.
Contribute to the delivery of People Team initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Assist in reviewing and maintaining policies, templates, and standard operating procedures.
Employee Engagement and Wellbeing
Support the organisation and delivery of employee engagement activities (e.g., surveys, and wellbeing initiatives).
Assist with coordinating internal communications related to People initiatives and support all Company offsites
Act as an ambassador for company values and culture, supporting initiatives that foster an inclusive and positive workplace.
Recruitment Support
Supports the Talent Acquisition Partner with recruitment activity where required:
Post job adverts across internal and external platforms
Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and feedback tracking.
Carry out screening calls with candidates
Support hiring managers with recruitment administration and documentation.
Exposure to Broader People Functions
Provide operational cover for other People Team members when required, ensuring continuity of service.
Gain experience in areas such as compliance, reward, and policy implementation, depending on business needs.

Excellent IT skills and specifically MS Office
Some previous admin or HR experience would be helpful, but we're open to potential and attitude.
Eagerness to learn and develop with the People/HR Field
