The Role
We are pleased to be recruiting for a People Co-Ordinator to join our People Team on a 12 month fixed term basis, based at our Head Office in Carlisle.
This is a full time position and the hours of work are 08:30 until 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a one hour unpaid lunch break per day inclusive.
The main elements of this role will include:
Assisting with processing people changes and monthly Payroll
Being responsible for administering colleague onboarding and leaver tasks
Administering all colleague benefits (Group Life Cover, Pension, Annual Leave and BUPA etc)
Providing Health & Safety administrative support
Maintaining HR systems / databases
Dealing with people related queries from colleagues across the firm
Supporting with the delivery of HR tasks and projects as required

The Candidate
In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:
Experience of working in an office environment (ideally in Professional Services)
Basic HR knowledge and / or experience of working in a HR team
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
An excellent communicator in both verbal and written forms, and be able to flex your style depending on your audience
Able to use initiatives and have great organisation / problem solving skills
Able to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure
A dedicated team player and willing to assist colleagues within the team where possible
