People & Culture Officer
will be the people champion at the hotel and engage in wider group projects on occasion. The
People & Culture Officer

People & Culture Officer
will make sure we do this for our colleagues too.
The
People & Culture Officer
will be responsible for supporting the management team in looking after their colleagues from day 1, ensuring a warm welcome, ongoing training & development, supporting with any colleague issues and queries, holiday management, keeping all data on Access People accurate and championing our policies and procedures. Not forgetting the wonderful things, we want to do for our team the Human Resources Officer will champion colleague celebrations, ensuring we never forget to mark an anniversary or birthday and that we celebrate all successes.
On a wider group basis, the
People & Culture Officer
will work in collaboration with the wider People & Culture team on projects and all things People.
An eye for detail, motivated, organised, empathetic, time management, problem solver are all attributes that the successful candidate requires. This role requires the ability to take ownership, strong knowledge of employment law and practical application that can be demonstrated.
The role of
People & Culture Officer
will report to the Director of People & Culture with a dotted line to the General Manager, the role is ideal for someone who has strong demonstratable experience in a People role in Hospitality.
Job Overview:
The People & Culture Partner will ensure that all colleagues have a positive experience in their employee lifecycle at Avisford park Hotel. They will support with placing adverts, recruitment, administration on Access People, supporting HOD's with time & attendance and payroll, plus the lovely things! We want to celebrate our colleagues and recognise the great work that they do, we want to remember the birthdays and special events and be there to answer questions and provide support where needed.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Human Resources professional in a similar role ideally in hospitality.
CIPD Level 5 (Ideally 7).
Up to date knowledge of employment law.
Experience delivering training.
Experience of HRIS systems such as Flow, Fourth, Access People, Peoplebank.
Strong knowledge and experience of managing Employee Relations to include disciplinary and grievance.
