We are looking for a People Executive to take on a new role in our growing People Team at Premier League Studios. In this role you will be working with the Head of People to provide operational, recruitment and payroll support for departments.

This would be a great opportunity for an individual who has recently started a career in HR or has a strong desire to develop a career in HR and is willing to learn and take on new challenges. This role offers far-reaching responsibility across all core operational delivery aspects providing support to all staff at Premier League Productions (soon to be PL Studios).

The role will work closely alongside a People Business Partner (to be recruited) and Head of People and will report into the Head of People initially.

The People Executive will act as a close team and whilst they will have individual defined tasks, they will be expected to be able to work across the whole core People team remit. The People Exec and Payroll and Rewards Exec (to be recruited) will have responsibility for the administration of monthly payroll.

You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

The role





The role will support on the operational delivery of all core tasks required to service the staff of the Premier League and ensure that we offer a best-in-class People team function. This includes, but is not limited to:Supporting across recruitment and selection (inc. shortlisting, interviewing, contract preparation, eligibility and safeguarding checks, pre-onboarding and induction training) Managing payroll activities including monthly payroll and annual P11D submission. Management of all trackers, management reports, intranet, onboarding platforms Probationary period management Supporting on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and flexible working request. Support training and development programme planning and tailored L&D solutions Handbook, policies and procedures - regularly reviewed and updated in line with statutory requirements and industry best practice / benchmarking Service agreement administration where required Supporting across health and safety compliance Maintenance of the integrated payroll and staff database - this includes the completion of an electronic filing project for all People records Managing benefit administration (pension, gym, Cycle scheme etc) Management of employer brand content on external platforms, including LinkedIn

The work above will cover the UK PLS remit.

Requirements for the role





Experience within generalist people team focused role supporting and advising on HR matters across the employee lifecycle Experience payroll processing Understanding of dealing with a wide range of contractor/freelance worker arrangements Evidence of a passion for working with people and being inclusive in this approach High level of integrity with the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters Excellent communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence Supported on an implementation of a payroll/people system previously is desirable, but not essential. Good knowledge of MS-Office applications Ability to build and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders. A hardworking, self-motivated, and proactive attitude, with a flexible and collaborative working approach The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, where people are at the core of everything you do
