The People Insights Lead is a unique opportunity to help shape and define the way we use people data here at Heathrow. At the heart of this role is ensuring we push beyond the basics and deliver high-impact insights that challenge thinking and support strategic decision-making. Leveraging our new data analytics platform, the role will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders (including external partners, senior leadership and our Executive team) allowing us to help deliver change across the whole of Heathrow.


Your curiosity, attention to detail, and passion for people data will be key as you dig beneath the surface to uncover insights that matter. You'll work across a broad range of areas within the People team, while also focusing on specific partnerships to build deep relationships and act as a trusted Data Business Partner.


We've laid some solid foundations in our People Analytics journey, but there's still plenty of opportunity to help build and shape the team. The job holder will need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy balancing short-term wins with long-term vision.



Developing, delivering and improving a suite of reports and dashboards to regularly monitor agreed metrics and KPIs giving timely and relevant insights Supporting the governance of People data - ensuring robust ways of working to give a single version of the truth across all users Collaborating with the People Business Partners to share a functional view of people metrics and performance with each of the functional areas focussing on influencing functions to take action to improve Unlocking data and making it accessible to the business, helping drive a move to a self-service, data led culture Being able to story tell with the outputs of the reporting and analytics to help the People team and the Business understand the "so what"

Experience in working with data in a previous role Strong technical knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerBI and/or SQL Keen interest in HR Strong communication and stakeholder management skills gained from previous roles Problem solving skills

Working Location



Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
