We are currently seeking an experienced P&O Manager to lead and oversee all P&O activities in Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing P&O policies and processes in alignment with both Group practices and local legal requirements. Moreover, you will act as a strategic partner to the local leaders in Poland to enable them in their leadership and navigate through organizational change as a trusted partner.
As P&O Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the Director of People & Organisation for our Engineering Design Center Business line, as well as the Managing Director of COWI Poland.
Furthermore, on a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Act as trusted advisor for the business, provide sparring and coaching to the leaders and teams.
  • In cooperation with business leaders identify key business priorities and ensure P&O initiatives are well aligned with them.
  • Execute and implement Group P&O initiatives (People Review, Engagement process, talent management, performance management etc) along with local P&O action plans.
  • Act as functional specialist in implementation of P&O processes and projects.
  • Support leaders in recruitment and employer branding activities.
  • Support organisational changes and change management processes.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with local laws/regulations
  • Lead and deliver local people operations such as onboarding, leave management, document handling, social security, exit processes while continuously optimizing P&O processes.
  • Promote a collaborative and cohesive culture aligned with COWI values.

On top of that, you have:
  • Master's degree in HR or Psychology, or any other master's with a postgraduate qualification in HR or Psychology.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a similar HR role, with solid practical knowledge of employment practices and labor law in an international matrix organization in the consulting industry.
  • Detailed understanding of HR policies, processes, and advanced analytical skills.
  • Effective relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively coordinate across stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in the engineering sector or similar technical environments.
