, you'll be at the heart of this mission, partnering with leaders to embed culture-led initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and growth.


This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to translate people strategy into meaningful action. You'll be part of a forward-thinking People Team that's evolving with energy and intent -- and you'll play a key role in building a thriving culture at Dalcour Maclaren.

What you'll be doing:




As a trusted People Partner, you'll work closely with managers and leaders across the three of our service lines undertaking the following activities:

Strategic Partnering:

Build strong, influential relationships with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, offering strategic HR insight that drives commercial and cultural outcomes.

Culture-Led Initiatives:

Embed initiatives that strengthen our culture, values, and employee experience.

Employee Relations:

Lead on day-to-day ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management. Provide expert guidance on employment law and ensure fair, consistent outcomes.

Performance Enablement:

Support managers in driving high performance through coaching, feedback, and structured improvement plans.

Engagement & Voice:

Use tools like Peakon to gather employee feedback, analyse trends, and implement initiatives that enhance engagement and happiness across our business.

Policy & Compliance:

Develop and maintain HR policies aligned with legislation and best practice. Promote self-service and automation to streamline processes.

Pay & Performance:

Support cyclical activities such as pay reviews and the annual performance cycle.

Data & Insights:

Analyse trends, and feed insights into continuous improvement of our people strategy.

What you'll bring:



5+ years of generalist HR experience in a fast-paced, growing organisation (professional services experience is a plus). CIPD Level 5 (preferred) or equivalent experience. Proven track record managing complex ER cases with confidence and empathy. Experience delivering culture-led initiatives as part of a strategic HR team. Strong communication and influencing skills -- able to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels. Experience implementing or improving HR functions in a scale-up and change orientated environment. Solid understanding of UK employment law (ROI knowledge is a bonus). Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday experience desirable).
