Are you a People professional with a passion for building incredible employee experiences? Do you thrive on coaching, developing leaders, and shaping a vibrant culture? If so, we want YOU to be our strategic number two to the Head of People!


This isn't just any HR role - you'll be instrumental in driving the entire employee lifecycle with a product mindset, focusing on continuous improvement and user-centric design. Think of our people as our most valuable "product" and help us make their journey exceptional!


We're a small but mighty People team spanning across Breathe, Elmo UK, and Rotageek. This means incredible variety, the chance to unify approaches across different business units, and the opportunity to flex your strategic and operational muscles. You'll collaborate closely with our People and Talent Advisor and People Operations Administrator, delivering human-centered people initiatives that truly make a difference.


If you have proven generalist experience, a knack for leadership development, and a genuine love for coaching, you'll help us build a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging workplace that scales with care.

What You'll Be Doing:

Strategic HR Partnership (30%)



Be a

strategic thought partner

to the Head of People and senior leaders, shaping and delivering our people strategy. Champion a

"people as a product" mindset

, using feedback loops and continuous iteration in our HR programs. Support

succession planning and talent mapping

to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders. Leverage

people data and insights

to drive strategic decisions and enhance the employee experience. Help unify people processes and experiences across our businesses, aligning with our culture and priorities.

Coaching, Culture & Leadership Development (30%)



Coach and mentor

managers and team leads to boost leadership capability, engagement, and psychological safety. Design and deliver

high-impact leadership development

initiatives. Promote a culture of

growth, ownership, and high performance

across all teams. Actively support

change leadership

efforts, guiding teams through transformation.

HR Generalist & Operational Support (25%)



Provide

expert, people-first guidance

on HR policies, ER matters, performance, and wellbeing. Own and continuously improve core

HR systems and processes

, ensuring compliance and excellence. Manage

end-to-end payroll processing

in partnership with finance. Maintain

up-to-date and inclusive HR policies

that reflect best practices and legal compliance. Ensure awareness and compliance with

information security protocols

Seasoned HR Pro:

You've got solid HR generalist experience, ideally from a fast-paced SME or a tech/SaaS environment.

Coaching Champion:

Deep experience in coaching managers and spearheading impactful leadership development initiatives is key.

Strategic & Operational Ace:

You can seamlessly switch between big-picture thinking and delivering operational excellence.

Talent Architect:

You're skilled in talent planning, succession, and performance enablement programs.

Recruitment Whiz:

Proven expertise in end-to-end recruitment and seamless onboarding processes.

Learning Innovator:

Experience in building engaging learning journeys or delivering training/coaching at scale.

Change Leader:

A confident hand in guiding teams through change and driving organizational development.

Data Driven:

You're comfortable using data and analytics to inform your strategy and actions.

UK Law Savvy:

Proficient in UK employment law and best practice HR policies - you know your stuff!

Tech-Fluent:

You're comfortable navigating tools like Google Suite, Office 365, HRIS (Breathe), ATS (Hireful), Slack, Fellow, and even HarrietAI.

CIPD Qualified:

CIPD Level 5 qualified or actively working towards it.
