We're seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR professional to join our People Function as a People Partner (Talent Acquisition). This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real impact -- driving our 2025/26 talent acquisition priorities and contributing to key people and organisational development initiatives that shape the employee experience.
What you'll be doing
As a People Partner (Talent Acquisition), you'll be at the centre of our people agenda -- delivering a wide range of HR activities with a strong focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, and people development. You'll also play a pivotal role in a number of strategic projects, including:
Bringing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to life
- championing what makes the University of Gloucestershire a truly great place to work.
Transforming our onboarding and probation processes
- creating a seamless and inspiring start for every new colleague.
Driving process improvements
- helping us deliver a consistently high-quality, people-centred service.
Shaping our Apprenticeship Programme
- working with the Talent Development Partner to grow our own future talent and support career pathways across the University.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has been operating as a generalist HR Business Partner in a small to medium sized organisation, with a solid understanding of the full employee life cycle, most recently in the talent acquisition space. You will bring practical experience, an adaptable, innovative and creative solution focused mindset to support a lean team in a dynamic changing environment.
