What's the Role About?



As our People and Payroll Administrator, you'll be the heart of our HR and payroll processes. You'll handle everything from new starter checks to payroll, ensuring everything's accurate, efficient and most importantly, fun! If you're a stickler for detail and love being a vital part of a team, this could be your dream job.

Your Key Responsibilities

:

Onboarding made easy: Ensure new starters are set up for success with paperwork verification including follow ups, right to work checks, DBS checks, reference checks and ordering uniform. Smooth payroll process: Keep things running smoothly with monthly payroll updates, including new starters, leavers and expenses management. Employee lifecycle support: Assist with TUPE employee onboarding, preparing reference letters for existing employees, responding to reference enquiries, processing variation requests- ensuring everything stays compliant and streamlined. Record keeping: Manage employee records and maintain personnel files with precision - no room for mistakes here! Admin support: Assist the People team with various administrative duties, including entering employees onto our internal admin system because here at The Pantry we believe 'teamwork makes the dream work.'*

What You'll Bring

:

At least 1 year experience in administration (preferably HR or payroll-related). Exceptional attention to detail - we trust you with the little things that make a big impact. A can-do attitude and a passion for staying organised - we know you're always ready to juggle tasks! Solid Excel skills - you'll love keeping things neat and tidy in spreadsheets. Great communication skills - you're confident when working with people at all levels.

Location: Uxbridge UB8 2FX - you must be able to commute or plan to relocate. Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible but must work 4 hours a day). Pay: 12.21 per hour.
