Role Description




Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this sole contributor is responsible for optimising use of our People Information Systems and driving opportunities for People Analytics to identify and solve complex people and organisational challenges.

The role will support the daily administration of SagePeople (People Gateway), TMS (Time & Attendance) and FlexiPay (Payroll) and assists with maintenance and troubleshooting of various system issues.




Working closely with the HRIS Solutions Developer and key stakeholders across the business, the individual will also identify opportunities for system improvements and process enhancements.


Principal Responsibilities:

People Information Systems:


Act as global process owner for People Gateway and TMS ensuring that any changes made are in line with intended overall system purpose Resolve basic issues and requests and work closely with the Solutions Developer to resolve complex issues and change requests Involvement in a variety of projects and new release programmes across People Gateway, TMS and FlexiPay, specifically reviewing requirements, testing and supporting deployment across the business Ensure user guides and learning programmes are kept up to date and ensure new and existing users have current knowledge on system functionality and reporting Develop and maintain awareness of both current and new functionality and engage regularly in system online communities, keeping HR leadership abreast of relevant information Maintain awareness of current external trends in HRIS, continuously increasing both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.


Reporting & Analytics:


Build and maintain standardized real-time dashboards displaying metrics and insights for HR and business leaders in a visually appealing manner Own and implement standard and ad-hoc reporting projects, enhancements and business as usual requests to successful completion against agreed objectives and timelines Support the development of self-sufficiency in end users through effective training and user education Ensure all reporting processes are followed in line with audit and compliance requirements. Collaborate with subject matter experts across the people CoE's to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insights Identify and establish relevant benchmarking for meaningful analytic comparison with consideration to industry, methodology and country/global focus Identify and liaise with relevant teams to ensure data alignment and consistency Deliver effective presentation of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating impactful visual displays of quantitative information



Role Requirements



Knowledge, Skills & Experience:





Knowledge:


Degree level qualification in a HR, Business or IT or related subject (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience) Working knowledge of HRIS solutions (Sage People, TMS and Flexipay desirable) Understanding of HR legislation and processes Understanding of methods and approaches to train and coach end users on business systems Good knowledge of MS Office suite, with advanced proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and data protection regulations. Broad knowledge in data analytics, basic statistics (e.g., mean/median/mode, variance, distributions, significance testing, etc) and interpreting results from an HR-centric perspective.



Skills:


Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning/follow-up skills, with a focus on process improvement and innovation. Highly developed data manipulation skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel Ability to communicate openly and effectively with various HR functions and IT team members, and across other business teams and functions at all levels without complex jargon

Strong interpersonal skills; able to quickly establish good relationships both internally, with people at all levels of an organisation, and externally Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audience Assertive, persuasive, patient and resilient Strong project management skills; organised, strong time management skills and ability to prioritise numerous tasks in order to meet established deadlines Ability to work quickly and accurately, especially under pressure; and within a cross-culture and global environment Strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential personal information Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as work in a collaborative team environment Ability to handle change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications



Experience:


Experience of using systems implementation methodologies Demonstrable track record of achieving results and managing change Experience of testing IT systems Understanding of methods and approaches to train and coach end users on business systems Experience of working cross-functionally dealing with all levels of business colleagues Experience of building reports using SagePeople and OneAdvanced's report writing tools, or similar
