Job Overview





Mitie is seeking a Performance Administrator to support HMRC's new flagship regional centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Pilgrims Quarter. Reporting to the Head of Performance, the Performance Administrator will be responsible for monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics, as well as driving continuous improvement of operational performance, and accurate reporting.



The role is a 12 month fixed term contract, covering the interim services Mitie have been asked to provide during the construction and fit out of the site.




Main Duties




Data Analysis: Analysis of all applicable and relevant data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform HMRC contract decision making or that of the wider Mitie business. Reporting: Create and present detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to all applicable stakeholders, both internal and external. Ensuring that all contractual reporting requirements are met. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through regular quality checks and reviews alongside the Head of Performance. Collaboration: Work closely with the operational teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights and support as necessary. Tool Management: Manage and utilise data analysis tools and software effectively - particularly the contract's use of Maximo and Mozaic. Training: Provide training and support to team members on data management practices and analytical tools.



What we are looking for




Excellent IT skills, with Excel being essential. Knowledge of Power Query, SQL and similar tools is a plus. Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Maximo. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical and senior stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices. Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with the latest data management and analysis trends and technologies. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
