The role
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking insurance MGU, focused on delivering exceptional risk solutions in an increasingly complex world and we are seeking a highly driven Performance, Governance and Controls Manager
This role is pivotal to driving performance across The Fidelis Partnership and ensuring our governance and controls are robust and fit for purpose in a fast-paced changing environment. The role spans multiple international jurisdictions, including Bermuda, Ireland, and Abu Dhabi.
The role will Support the Group COO and Group Head of Operations in driving effective governance, performance management, and operational resilience across all functions. Ensure robust first-line controls, SLA/KPI oversight, and corporate insurance coverage, while fostering strong stakeholder engagement and regulatory alignment.

Key accountabilities
Operational Governance & Performance Management
Define and embed clear SLAs and KPIs across all operational functions in collaboration with functional leads.
Lead Weekly Management Committee (ManCom) on behalf of TFP - from the production of materials through to escalation management and stakeholder management.
Lead production of Committee/Board reporting on behalf of Group COO.
Contribute to regulatory submissions and internal audits related to operational governance and controls.
First-Line Operational Controls
Partner with function heads to ensure first-line controls are well-defined, documented, and actively monitored.
Implement and maintain a structured reporting framework, including regular confirmations of control effectiveness.
SLA/KPI Oversight with Fidelis Insurance Group
Manage the end-to-end reporting process for SLA/KPI performance, ensuring timely submission and evidence-based reporting.
Coordinate remediation plans for underperformance, ensuring clarity, ownership, and alignment with FIG expectations.
Facilitate resolution of SLA/KPI disputes and negotiate changes to SLA/KPI wording with internal stakeholders.
Corporate Insurance Management
Own the corporate insurance framework (excluding employee benefits), ensuring comprehensive coverage aligned to business risks.
Lead the annual renewal process with brokers and manage mid-year adjustments driven by business change.
Act as the central point of contact for all corporate insurance matters.
Business Continuity & Operational Resilience
Oversee the Operational Resilience Manager's work to ensure robust continuity planning and resilience frameworks are in place and maintained.
Risk Management
Coordinate activities between the COO and Risk functions to support the identification, assessment, and management of operational risk exposures, while engaging with the CRO function to ensure that COO-owned processes remain aligned with the organisation's agreed risk appetite and tolerances
Translate risk and control data into actionable insights to support informed decision-making and performance improvement, while ensuring timely escalation of material control issues through appropriate governance channels
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships across TFP Group, Pine Walk, Fidelis Insurance Group, and external service providers.
Deliver clear, timely, and constructive operational updates and escalations to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the Group COO with all internal and external reporting requirements on behalf of the COO function (incl. but not limited to regulators, auditors, and external partners).

Skills & experience
insurance, MGA, or coverholder environments.
Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations, operational resilience, and governance frameworks.
Proven experience with performance management, SLAs/KPIs, and intra-group service agreements.
ExcMinimum 5 years' experience in financial services operations, ideally within ellent communicator with an inclusive leadership style and ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams and geographies.
Demonstrate inclusive leadership and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Undertake ad hoc duties or special projects as required by the Group Head of Operations.
