Job Description
We are looking for a lively and enthusiastic Performing Arts Teacher with a specific interest in Singing to join our team for the launch of Razzamataz Leicester South!
We are a part time theatre school for children aged 4-18 providing high quality training in Singing, Dance and Drama training as well as incredible performance opportunities locally and nationally.
You will be required to teach every Saturday morning in term time with some half term and holiday club requirements. We are keen to grow the school as much as possible and we are looking for a team that will support us in this and be excited to grow with us.
Must have a huge passion for creating a fun and energetic environment and be able to lead and engage a class of up to 25 students. Must have a genuine love for working with children, be capable of managing behaviour, and be passionate about building a friendly and collaborative team.
Previous experience teaching children of all ages is essential!
Triple Threat Teachers are highly desired with ability to teach across disciplines.
Requirements:
Role starts 13th September 2025 - Must be available every Saturday during Term Time Previous teaching experience - preferably in group settings Love and passion for performing arts Experience and passion for working with children Proactive, friendly, approachable and supportive Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply Paediatric First Aid certificate desirable Must be proactive in lesson planning, material sourcing and preparation

The role includes producing dynamic show pieces for local performances and our annual summer showcase. You must be able to bring the best out of students of all ages and abilities!
Must be reliable and committed, bubbly and enthusiastic, able to hold class attention and run a safe teaching environment whilst also creating a good rapport with the parents.
