Performing Arts Tutor

All-Star Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding Free Lance Performing Arts Tutor to work in a self-employed capacity for our community focused theatre school. We would expect the successful applicant to have experience of the delivery of workshops and be confident at facilitating groups of children of a variety of ages.

We would expect the successful candidate to co-ordinate students learning and lead them towards their end of term showcases. Preparing them for the stage, and ensuring they are confident, focused and equipped with the correct stage craft tools to ensure an enjoyable and rewarding showcase for both students and audiences alike.

Essential:

Enhanced DBS

(or willing to obtain)*
First Aid Certification_

( or willing to obtain)

_ Experience of working with children_

(1 Year or more)

_ Background or interest in one of more performing arts disciplines

(Singing, Dance or Acting)

A good sense of humour Passionate about student development and progression

Desirable:

(Not Essential)

Experience Directing / Choreographing for shows LAMDA Experience Qualification/ Degree in Performing Arts/ Musical Theatre or similar subject. Full Driving License and access to own vehicle.
