Main duties of the job
As a Peripatetic Chef, you will be responsible for supporting several care home teams in the Kettering area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fresh meals for the residents. You will have a good understanding of nutrition and experience working with seasonal, fresh ingredients. Additionally, you will need to possess strong kitchen management skills, the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment, and the confidence to engage with residents. The role offers a work-life balance with alternating weekends, a competitive rate of pay plus travel costs, and the opportunity to showcase your talent at the annual Barchester Hospitality Awards.
