Personal Assistant

Requires a PA to support him with day-to-day tasks and accessing the community

including:

Support with personal care (e.g. washing, shaving his face/head and dressing) Support with domestic tasks. (e.g. cleaning, tidying, cooking.) Support with going shopping and attending appointments.

Patrick is a 32 year old male with PLS Motor Neuron Disease. His causes severe

degenerative muscle weakness, loss of motor function.

Hours and rate of pay

8 hours per week at 12.21 per hour



Work Duties may include:

Helping with

Hygienic clean, changing bedding and some laundry Support with household paperwork,

Supporting

Support with household recycling Support with day planning Assistant with going to gigs/bands. Social support inc clothes shopping, visiting friends, going for food or visiting

the bank

With social support within the home

Undertaking activities for employer

Ensuring employers home is hygienic and safe

Other requirements

Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns Assisting with management of employer's health risks Establish and maintain effective communication Maintaining confidentiality

Location

Within the employer's home in south Bristol area of Bristol.

Requirements for applicant

Experience of providing personal care Driver required, with access to motor vehicle Good sense of humor Patience Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer Ability to undertake domestic activities Flexible, reliable and honest Good general fitness An enhanced DBS check will be required
