Job Overview:



We are currently recruiting for the role of a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director within Connex.

This exciting role will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to deliver and assist our Managing Director on the current success and growth of the business. Duties:



Proactively manage the diary and schedule of the Managing Director, prepare comprehensive materials for meetings, ensuring they are fully briefed and ready for every engagement. Act as the first point of contact for all communications on behalf of the MD, responding to or filtering correspondence as necessary and following up on actions. Provide high-level administrative support, including drafting and formatting reports, presentations, and client documentation. Provide administration support including taking minutes of meetings. Organising and coordinating regular team and departmental meetings, events, away days and any required travel including flights, accommodation, and itineraries. Proactively provide a first-class customer service to all colleagues and clients. Proactively support the company's strategic and operational objectives, contributing to both short-term and long-term goals. Ensure the smooth running of the office environment, including booking meeting rooms, arranging catering, and providing hospitality as needed. Oversee office-related tasks, liaising with suppliers, managing office resources, and coordinating facilities. Provide general reception duties and project a positive and friendly image to visitors, either in person or on the telephone.

Essential Criteria:



Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships To have a positive mindset adhering to Company values. Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience of dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information. Experience of diary management, travel bookings, minute taking. Experience of working pro-actively and using own initiative to complete tasks. Excellent IT Skills and fully competent in Microsoft Packages, Outlook, Word, Excel, and particularly PowerPoint.

Desirable Criteria:



The successful candidate will be educated in a business related subject, or proven experience in a similar role. At least 1 years' experience in a PA Role. Commercial background experience

Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm
