I have vacancies for two personal assistants to join my team. I am a women in her sixties and a wheelchair user. I have 24-hour care at my home in Sidmouth.
I need assistance with running all areas of my home; including simple meal preparation and household chores. Alongside this are aspects of personal care e.g. hoisted transfers to/from wheelchair, washing, dressing etc.
I am practical and a good problem solver and am well experienced at responding to changes that a progressive muscle wasting condition has created. I maintain optimal health using good nutrition, exercise, singing and meditation - enabling me to continue to pursue my curiosity and varied engagement with the world.
Applicants must be organised, reliable, show good practical skills, efficient, calm and thoughtful.
Preferably with previous care experience or relevant transferable skills. Although you will be working 1:1 with me you will be joining a well established, supportive PA team who will provide training in my home.
Available shifts for two PAs:
Tuesday 5-9pm
Weekday tbc 9-5pm
Saturday 9-5pm
Saturday 5-9pm (alternate weekends)
Sunday 2-9pm (alternate weekends
Also available are bank hours, covering sickness and holidays
Day Rate is PAYE 13 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 22 per week
