About Lake District Farmers

We're a purpose-led meat wholesaler working with regenerative farmers and supplying some of the UK's leading restaurants. Our values are simple and non-negotiable: high animal welfare, genuine sustainability, and respect for people and place.

As we grow, we're looking for a proactive Personal Assistant to be the Managing Director's trusted right hand--keeping the wheels turning day to day while helping us deliver on our bigger mission.

The Role

You'll be the calm, organised centre of a busy schedule--managing diaries and communications, preparing materials, and coordinating projects that span farmer partnerships, sustainability initiatives, and relationships with top kitchens.

Key responsibilities

Own the schedule:

Manage the MD's diary, meetings, travel and priorities.

Be the first point of contact:

Handle calls, emails and correspondence with warmth, professionalism and confidentiality.

Prepare and follow through:

Draft agendas, compile packs and presentations, take accurate minutes and chase actions.

Support key projects:

Coordinate workstreams across sustainability, supply chain and business growth.

Connect the dots:

Liaise with farmers, restaurant clients and internal teams to keep information flowing and relationships strong.

Stay ahead of the detail:

Maintain documents and records, manage logistics and anticipate needs.
