Would you like to be part of one of the most exciting international Defence programmes of the next 50 years? We are looking for a highly skilled Personal Assistant to join one of our exciting Joint Ventures to support the Executive team, including CEO, as they look to establish a new business in the UK.
As one of the first members to join the team you will play an integral role in supporting the senior team who are leading this activity on behalf of three nation partners. This role will not be your standard Personal Assitant role and require someone with exceptional Administrative and Co-ordination skills while being able to adapt to a fast paced and agile environment.
Given the nature of the role and the importance of growing an international team in this location, the role will be office based at least 4 days a week.
You will be warmly welcomed into the fold and expected to carry out a number of duties, outlined below using your skillset and experience;
What you'll do as a Personal Assistant;
Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the relevant Senior Managers, including CEO, on a daily basis
Diary Management - including forward planning and rectifying clashes, co-ordinating and booking of internal and external meetings (Rooms, Catering, Security etc across all sites)
Collation and distribution of papers and preparation of presentation material and ensuring actions are completed
Travel (not limited to flights/hotel /taxi/car hire /visa's/car parking/PDMS/GT Global tracker, increase phone data abroad)
Expenses - Monitor, create & submit in a timely manner for relevant senior stakeholders.
Inbox management & housekeeping
Weekly review/planning meeting with the stakeholders you will support
What we need from you:
High level of prioritisation, understanding the importance of confidentiality
Experience providing support at an Executive level
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective stakeholder management - awareness of other people's work and how this role can add value
Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Able to identify and solve routine problems
Able to demonstrate a range of administrative and organisation skills
Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
