Job Description

Due to significant growth, Anfield solicitors are looking to recruit a PI paralegal on a full time basis. With a high success rate, Anfield solicitors are recognised for their high quality results, exceptional customer service and tailored advice in all areas covering personal injury claims.

This role involves assisting the lead solicitor with OIC portal, MOJ Portal and MIB Cases. Experience of indemnity, liability and complex medical issues is required and excellent attention to detail essential. The role also includes the need to engage with senior credit hire claims handlers to ensure our clients are receiving a top quality service. The role involves working as part of a team to handle personal injury claims from start to finish. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to manage RTA cases, communicate with clients, and keep them updated. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team, handling complex personal injury claims. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing OIC/MOJ/MIB portal cases, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.

Your tasks



Analysing large amounts of evidence Identifying key issues in medical records Assessing liability evidence to find any gaps You'll prepare technical advice on various aspects of the claims, such as liability, quantum, and strategy, and suggest next steps. Interviewing witnesses, drafting statements, pleadings, and applications, and instructing counsel for conferences, mediations, or court appearances. Manage costs budgets with costs solicitors, ensure case information is up-to-date, and support the development of a paralegal team. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and deliver quality work within set targets.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Proven experience in personal injury claims management or a similar legal environment Experience working on Litigation files for Credit Hire Ability to analyse large volumes of evidence and identify key issues Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting statements, pleadings, and technical advice Experience liaising with clients, witnesses, and legal professionals Ability to work proactively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Knowledge of court procedures, claims handling, and regulatory standards (such as SRA)
