We are on the lookout for ambitious individuals to join our PI Portal department as a Team Leader. This role will involve having responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of a team of fee earners, supporting them to provide the best service and achieve departmental targets and providing support and guidance to drive team targets to be achieved and case durations minimised by ensuring the progression of cases as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Responsibilities



As a

Team Leader

, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting team members so that the departments procedures are followed and ensure the smooth running of the department. Liaise with Department Managers, Team Leaders and Team Members to ensure Department Targets are met and strive to exceed the same. Audit Handler accuracy/efficiency and allocate workload to team members. Ensure individual team member development and training needs are identified and addressed. Maintain an agreed caseload of OIC files and/or MOJ files to ensure you understand current process and any relevant changes to process. Be familiar with rules that govern OIC and MOJ and sound understanding of both OIC and MOJ. Ensure that Fee Earner performance issues are identified and addressed. Deal with Escalations and Complaints. Ensure cases are actively progressed to achieve settlement and the best outcome for the client at the earliest opportunity, whilst minimising case durations.

Working Hours



This role is Full Time based on 40 Hours per week. The Working Pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm.We are also fully office based in Byker, Newcastle.
