Due to an increase in private client tax work and an increase in the number of clients requiring our services, we are recruiting for a personal tax manager to manage the work of the personal tax return team and to be the main point of contact for certain key clients within the practice.

Excellent communication and delegation skills are essential as the individual will be able to inspire the team and ensure that work is completed to a high level of quality.

As you will be working closely with the tax seniors and semi seniors in the firm, the role would be office based.

Job Type / Category

Working in public practice in an accounting/tax practice. The role will involve plenty of client interaction and managing individuals in the tax team, so building up a strong rapport with clients and team members will be essential.

Sound technical knowledge of personal income tax and capital gains tax is essential. An interest and knowledge in respect of IHT and Trust taxation would be advantageous as part of the role would be to assist developing our work in trusts and estates work.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

ATT or ideally ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with several years post qualification experience in a personal tax role. Must have experience of managing and developing team members as we strive to continually improve and develop our people. You will be highly organised and pay close attention to detail.

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
