Pharmaceutical Team Leader



Are you an ambitious, dedicated and career-focused individual, with experience working in Pharmaceutical Aseptics or Medical Devices (Compounding) in a managerial or supervisory position? Our Aseptic Production Unit are responsible for compounding and producing all of the products for our patients, in a sterile environment, in line with standard operating procedures.

The Team Leader will provide leadership, direction and facilitate the frontline management of the UK compounding centre in line with the company principles and objectives. The role is based in Runcorn, Cheshire and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, working 6am - 2pm alternating with 2pm - 10pm on a weekly basis or 7am - 3pm alternating with 3pm - 11pm on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment, engagement, development, motivation and retention of staff via regular feedback including 1:1's, yearly reviews, team meetings and other communication sessions Compliance with company policies and legislative requirements to include Health and Safety, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practise), ISO Standards and HR related policies & procedures Contribution and participation as an individual and representative of Fresenius Kabi UK in future development and the roll out of the company strategy To achieve the Compounding centre Operations directives on a daily, monthly and annual basis Accountability for all individual team performance metrics, including Quality and H&S compliance Ensure work areas are maintained in an "audit-ready" state through regular review Demonstrate leadership and maintain a visible presence in the relevant work area (gowning compliance mandatory for graded areas) Assist in maintaining the Quality Assurance Accreditation Programme

Qualifications:

Qualifications/experienceExperience in Pharmaceutical Aseptics or Medical Devices (Compounding) Managerial or supervisory experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong knowledge of GMP requirements Excellent people management skills
