30 hours per week with options for overtime and additional 6 hours per week paid training.
Requirements
Mustlive within close proximity to the pharmacy (CR4 1DL) as we close for lunch
Strong willingness to learn and a proactive attitude toward skill development
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Prior related experience is not required but is considered an advantage
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to professional growth

During a typical day however you may have to:
Serve patients, sensitively, at the counter in a polite and efficient manner
Assist customers in buying medicines
safely
over the counter
Hand out repeat prescriptions on customer request ensuring thorough checks are made and ensure appropriate information is given to the customer where necessary
Accurately complete financial transactions with patients including calculation of prescription charges, handling of cash, and cards and operate the till.
Prepare prescription items using special pharmacy IT programmes
To be working towards or have completed an accredited MCA training course under the guidance of the pharmacist.
Provide advice on leading a healthy lifestyle.
General housekeeping and expiry date checking to maintain cleanliness of the shop floor and dispensary.
Safe disposal of returned medicines.
Carry out pharmacy servies - such as taking blood pressure measurements
Check and put away daily order for medicines and shop items
Provides assistance to registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Requirements for the role
Ability to use computer equipment (essential)
Flexibility on shift patterns
Basic Maths and English (GCSE Grade C +)
Second language is a bonus, but not essential
