We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care. Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately.
Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and medication administration.
Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked and organised, including managing inventory levels.
Assist in the management of prescription orders, including processing refills and handling insurance claims.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks as needed.
Experience
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills within the pharmacy setting.
