We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients. Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide medication administration support, including counselling patients on proper usage and potential side effects. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring medication supplies. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Skills

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting. Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients and healthcare colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
