Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and health concerns. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of medications. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant/dispenser is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice would be an advantage.
We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual who is available to work weekends and weekdays across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
