Pharmacy Dispenser

Medicine Drop is a fast-growth pharmacy delivery business, allowing patients to order their medications online and have them delivered anywhere in the UK. We are an innovative business with a growing reputation here in the UK for providing pharmacy services nationwide.

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our pharmacy team on a permanent basis.

In this role you will be assisting the current staff within their roles, helping them to meet daily/weekly deadlines, ensuring the pharmacy runs as smooth as possible whilst we continue to grow and offer the best possible customer service we can.

What will this role involve?

With potential to develop alongside a growing pharmacy, your duties will include:

Learning how to tailor conversations with customers to ensure their questions are answered efficiently and confidently.

Working towards delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.

Seeking opportunities to engage with practice teams and patients to drive services and items.

Working towards delivering efficient and forward thinking dispensary operations.

General pharmacy maintenance such as cleaning and stock replenishment.

Dispensing prescriptions.

Using computer systems and Microsoft Excel to generate stock lists and labels

Receiving, loading or unloading wholesaler/patient deliveries.

Selling over-the-counter medicines

Answering customer questions by phone

Referring problems or queries to the pharmacist

What do I need?

A desire and genuine passion for delivering excellent service The ability to be versatile in your approach to adapt your style as processes change within the pharmacy as we continue to grow. To work well within a team IT skills Flexibility, professionalism, drive and willingness to learn

What are the working hours?

37.5-42.5 hours per week (negotiable) Across 5 days a week, Mon - Fri, occasional Saturdays.

- Applications welcomed from candidates with a pharmacy background requiring Tier 2 Visa sponsorship.

Build strong and collaborative relationships with the Pharmacy team, inspiring the team to work to a high standard to ensure we give customers and patients the best care possible.
