Pharmacy Dispenser

Duties:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Label and organize medication inventory
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding medications
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations in medication handling and storage

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a pharmacy dispensing assistant or higher is preferred
- Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and common uses
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping
