Pharmacy Dispenser
Job Description
Experience in a pharmacy is preferred. If you do not have training/experience, training can be provided on site.
Attributes required:
- Individuals with a good work ethic and enthusiasm
- Individuals able to be flexible to cover staff or work demands (this could mean working days other than those specified or working beyond 2pm on a weekday)
Tuesday: 8.5 hours
Wednesday: 8.5 hours
Thursday: 8.5 hours
12.21/hour
20% staff discount
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescriptions for patients
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Proficient in medication administration techniques
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong customer service skills
