We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. Duties

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and administration of medication, providing guidance and support to patients regarding their prescriptions. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information and prescription details. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and address any medication-related queries. Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with necessary medications and supplies, conducting regular inventory checks. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration processes and patient care practices is essential. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy and professionalism. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of pharmacy practice. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems would be an advantage.
