Sighthill Pharmacy is a family-owned independent pharmacy located just north of Glasgow City Centre. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Position:

Pharmacy Dispenser - further ACD/ACT training available Part time - at least 3 days per week, full time also considered Competitive salary dependent on experience Permanent role

Main Duties:

Supporting our busy MDS service Dispensing NHS and private prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency Delivering NHS services including Pharmacy First and smoking cessation Managing repeat prescriptions and liaising with local GP surgeries Assisting the pharmacist in the smooth running of daily operations Maintaining stock control and ensuring the dispensary is well organised

Essential Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) dispensing qualification is essential Previous experience in a UK community pharmacy setting desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues Strong attention to detail and ability to work on your own initiative, while thriving as part of a team
