Pharmacy Dispenser
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Provide patient education on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Use medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare providers and patients.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficient computer skills for medication dispensing systems and electronic health records.
