Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products to patients, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, providing essential support in patient care. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed, including patient information and medication details. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries regarding medications, usage instructions, and potential side effects. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles is essential. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare team members.
