Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Assist pharmacists in preparing and labelling medications for patient use. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their usage. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential. Strong commitment to patient care and safety. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice will be an advantage.
