Job Title: Experienced Pharmacy Dispenser / Counter Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service -- greet, assist, and advise patients with professionalism and empathy. Accurately process prescriptions, label and prepare medications, and handle queries confidently. Provide clear and safe information to patients about medicines (including usage, side effects, and storage). Maintain accurate and timely records of dispensing and patient interactions. Manage stock effectively -- check deliveries, monitor expiry dates, and keep shelves well-organised. Work closely with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes. Adhere to all GPhC standards, SOPs, and health & safety requirements at all times.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as a pharmacy dispenser (required).

Excellent knowledge of pharmacy practice, prescription processing, and medicines. Confident communication skills (verbal and written English). Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. IT-literate -- comfortable using pharmacy software and computer systems. Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach. Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, when required.

Pay: 12.21-12.65 per hour
