Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

experienced Pharmacy Dispenser

to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients, while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medication administration and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Duties

Dispense prescribed medications accurately, following all legal and regulatory standards. Assist with the preparation and labelling of medications, including dosage calculations. Support patients by answering questions and providing advice on the safe use of their medicines. Maintain precise records of medication dispensing and manage stock levels. Collaborate with pharmacists to promote patient safety and the highest level of care. Take part in regular training to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations. Keep the pharmacy clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a pharmacy dispenser is essential

. Strong understanding of medication handling and patient care. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a

busy environment

while remaining professional. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
