Pharmacy Operative: Millennium Pharmacy



We are an Independent Pharmacy in St Helens who services both NHS and Private Patients together with an Aesthetics Department servicing the Profession/Industry.

We are looking to recruit a well-motivated individual who is honest reliable and hardworking and flexible to join our team.

You must be able to work well within a team and alone and have excellent attention to detail, the work can be physically demanding as you will be on your feet all day. The role is varied in the jobs that you will do. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given.

We have a clean, light-hearted working environment with a relaxed atmosphere, that can be fast paced at times.

Duties Include:



Primarily to assist within the Aesthetics Department packaging customers orders to be despatched. Ensuring that at the end of each day all parcels are loaded and despatched with the relevant carrier and has a consignment label. Restocking of all consumables used and re-ordering when running low. Prior to leaving ensuring the packing area and work area are left clean and tidy and all material are in place for the next working day. Responsible for ensuring that the site is kept clean and tidy well maintained at all times. You will be responsible for completing all cleaning tasks required and will be able to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning bathroom, someone who can ensure a high-quality service to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our team and visitors. Assist with the destruction of pharmaceutical waste, which contain medicinal drugs that have expired, used, contaminated, damaged or no longer needed and ensure that it is disposed of appropriately.

Key Skills Required:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly and Professional - able to deal with customers when they are in the pharmacy while cleaning is being performed. Team player - ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work done. Self-starter - able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so. Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities. Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems. Candidates who are reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude and the ability to work efficiently.
