Level 3 Accredited Pharmacy Technician
with strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance to play a pivotal role in upholding and driving excellence across our services.
Duties
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, GPhC standards, and internal policies.
Stay abreast of changes to laws, regulations, and industry best practice.
Quality Assurance
Develop and maintain robust quality management and compliance systems.
Lead internal audits and inspections, ensuring action plans are implemented effectively.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and introducing corrective and preventive measures.
Risk Management
Conduct risk assessments across operations.
Develop mitigation strategies and monitor their outcomes.
Training & Developmen
Deliver training on compliance and quality assurance for all pharmacy staff.
Act as a subject matter expert for compliance-related queries.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate compliance records, audit findings, and action logs.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for senior management and regulators.
Support preparation for external inspections and audits.
Liaison & Collaboration
Work with site leads and cross-functional teams to standardise compliance practices.
Support investigations into incidents or breaches and ensure remedial actions are completed.
Experience
Essential
Level 3 Accredited Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent UK-recognised qualification).
Proven experience in a pharmacy environment with strong knowledge of UK pharmacy law and GPhC standards.
Desirable
Previous experience in compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
Understanding of risk management and quality improvement frameworks.
Competence with pharmacy management systems and compliance monitoring tools.
