The trainee will be under direct supervision of a very experienced tutor.
The training will be linked to General Pharmaceutical Council standards and competences and lead to registration with GPhC as a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Training will include receiving, validating for authenticity and dispensing prescriptions including Schedule 2 CD's for patients at the pharmacy.
To review and record patient information with their prescription in compliance with guidelines of the GPhC.
To provide opportunity to Final Accuracy Check minimum 500 prescriptions and continue throughout training.
To communicate with local surgeries to resolve any discrepancies in prescribing.
To stock the pharmacy with inventory and destruct patient returns.
To conduct national and pharmacy based clinical audits.
To respond to MHRA Recalls and Patient Safety Alerts.
To provide instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine
To support pharmacist in daily operation of the pharmacy
To protect employees and patients by adhering to infection-controls and policies
To maintain a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules and procedures.
To develop leadership qualities whilst maintaining professionalism.
To take every opportunity for personal CPD as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff.
Our organisation includes Superintendent Pharmacist, a very experienced Pharmacist Manager, two Dispensing Assistants, one Medicine Counter Assistant and one Administration Assistant.

OUR REQUIREMENT
Higher Education in Science / Mathematics field extremely important and willingness to learn and serve. RIGHT TO WORK IN UK AND A RESIDENT IN UK FOR AT LEAST LAST 3 YEARS
GRADE C OR ABOVE IN GCSE ENGLISH, MATHS AND SCIENCE OR EQUIVALENT.
HIGHER QUALIFICATION THAN THIS MINIMUM PREFERRED (PREFREBLY A DEGREE IN SCIENCE). MUST BE INTERESTED IN COMMUNITY PHARMACY.
HAVE AN ABILITY TO WORK AS A PART OF OUR TEAM AND MUST HAVE EXEMPLORY CUSTOMER RELATIONS APPROACH. SATISFACTORY DBS CERITIFICATE. 30 HOURS PER WEEK (WHICH INCLUDES 6 HOURS OF STUDY TIME)
